'Using the versatile medium of fabric and thread she accomplishes delicate fine art interpretations of nature'.
Sample clip - Lecture to the Royal Institute of Science & Literature
Jane’s inspirational talks explore nature and provide an informative insight into the methods she uses to create her delicate fine art embroideries. Walk with her through the woods as she describes the beauty of cold wintry days or perhaps the joy of the first snowdrops, ‘promise of the year ahead’. Childhood walks discovering fairy rings, wood nymphs and wild flowers dancing in forest glades. Or journey to the coast and with her gaze out to sea where perchance you may see mermaids colourwash their tails! Enter her studio as she describes the hours of meticulous work involved achieving her fantastically naturalistic three- dimensional works of art. Share her passion for the natural world and share in her adventure of being an Artist and an Author.
Jane usually talks for approximately one hour and is always happy to take time beyond this for questions that may have arisen.
Lecture fee is £125 plus 45p per mile travelling expenses.
